Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage and develop the Hungarian sales team in order to achieve sales targets and coordinate business activities together with the Central European (CE) sales and marketing management and the regional CSS team
  • Sales development supervision: forecast business, set regional targets and monitor sales performance
  • Manage, develop and motivate the sales team
  • Create local assessment guidelines and monitor sales team performance in line with these guidelines
  • Develop, lead and implement local and cross border sales initiatives
  • Seek process improvement opportunities to optimise sales services for customers
  • Optimize the coverage of our markets (customer segments/geographical regions etc.)
  • Support activities of regional CSS team
  • Identify and drive strategies together with other sales supervisors, regional sales and marketing management and work as one team, sharing resources and maximise business profitability
  • Customer visits also together with sales reps, develop contacts with opinion leaders and manage distributors in the territory
  • Reporting results to the International sales and marketing management on a regular basis, responsible for budget planning and monitoring
  • Provide input to finance department for the regular reporting
 
Qualifications/Key Skills/ Experience/Key achievements:
  • Degree in business administration and/or degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biology (min. MSc level)
  • Min. 5 years experience in key account sales or regional management role
  • Knowledge of sales management and people development tools  
  • Effective usage of sales analysis tools (SAP, Excel, CRM)
  • Self motivating
  • Experience of working in an international business environment
  • Confident to work with regional and international key accounts on all hierarchy levels
  • Willingness and ability to challenge processes
  • Lead team and initiatives in international environment (‘lead with and without authority’)
  • Be a role model within the sales organisation, motivating others to follow by example
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (local language and English)
  • Ability and willingness to travel and be in the market with customers ca. 80% each week; driving license required
