Essential Job Functions:
  • Bear responsibility for actual sales figures in the assigned sales territory/Accounts and or product groups and execute sales activities
  • Act as the Sigma-Aldrich contact person in the assigned sales territory
  • Optimize sales in the assigned territory/Accounts
  • Achieve individual sales targets
  • Make customer visits including preparation, tour planning and documentation (using the CRM system)
  • Push the implementation of customer solutions (e-commerce)
  • Close cooperation with the Prague based Customer Sales Services team
  • Analyze the territory and total market in order to identify and take advantage of opportunities and trends
  • Make and present sales analysis and make proposals for further activities
  • Develop a sales plan for the assigned territory
  • Efficiently execute European or local marketing and sales development activities
  • Take part and organize trade fairs, seminars and workshops and perform product presentations
  • Focus efforts on assigned product groups and utilize the companies training tools
  • Support Country Sales Manager on regular reporting in line with organizational demand
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and trainings
  • Work together with distributors
 

Your Profile:

  • Requires a University degree in chemistry, biology or equivalent
  • Requires experience in Research or Laboratory area. Preferable, 2-5 years of sales experience
  • Good English (oral and written) including science terminology
  • Sales-oriented person with excellent communication skills
  • Good PC skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel and be in the market with customers ca. 80% each week; driving license required
